Beware Of Procrastination.

It's good that you have finally decided to start your journey towards happiness now. However be aware that you will meet a lot of obstacles and frustrations. One of those obstacles is called procrastination. Each time you want to do something, procrastination will yell you to hold on as there's still plenty of time for you to undertake your task.
Don't listen, continue with your journey. But if you find that procrastination is hard on you, you may try to do the following in order to scare him away:
1. In many cases when he appears as stress, try as much as possible to find time to start getting enough rest and relaxation. Where possible you can ask for help from someone who is able to do so. However you must feel free to find something that will be comfortable to you.
2. Set up deliberate program in a form of a daily planner. This is important because it will help you to remain on schedule with your program. Lack of an effective program is one reason why procrastination gets hold of you and it becomes easy on your part to forget to do something or to avoid.doing something. This's particularly so if you are not holding yourself responsible at the end of the day. You make sure that you look at your schedule all the time and go by it.
3. You make meaningful goals to guide you. Without goals you might fall into a situation where you tend to have too much to do in a day which might hurt you, and naturally procrastination will fight against it. Also make a provision in your schedule sometime to relax.
4.Divide a big task into smaller chunks. Take this as our example: You have some work to do in your garage. It needs cleaning but because there are too many boxes to shift around you would not have the place cleaned up at once.In this situation you will tell yourself you would be sorting at least one or two boxes per day. By doing this, in no time the task will have been accomplished.
5.Do not push yourself too hard. If you do this, you may eventually burnout, so learn how to take breaks. After you complete your task, find time to have a break. But please do not have a too long break. When you find that you are tempted, time yourself.
For little things, make sure that they are done as they come. As an example, if you receive a bill in the mail, find time to pay it immediately. Do not allow yourself to save things for the other time.
6. Learn to give yourself a deadline when you  have a task to undertake. Adhere to this firmly. If you wasted time at the beginning, you will be hurting as you near the end of the deadline. However if this happened may be that's what you would need to stay on top of things. It would also be of some help if you shared the experiences with a friend who has a similar problem so that you check each others progress.
These are some of the suggestions you may try out when you find that procrastination is disturbing your life.
